You have an unique opportunity to explore Hirtshals and area on bike. Vestkystruten (national west coast route) runs through Hirtshals and 2 Panorama route (national sightseeing routes) starts and ends in Hirtshals.

The trails will guide you past Hirtshals Lighthouse, Hirtshals Port, the North Sea Oceanarium, Asdal Voldanlæg (rampart) and you can enjoy the magnificent view from Tornby Bjerg and Hellehøj (two high spots in our area). Lots of cycling experiences for both children and adults.

Accommodation at your cycling holiday

Along the many cycle routes in the plantations you will find shelters, some with fireplace and woods. Here you will have a good nature experience, and is never far away from a refreshed dip in the North Sea.

Mountain in Tornby Klitplantage

Mountain biking is popular in Denmark and you have lot of possibilities for mountainbiking. In Tornby Klitplantage you will find a well-established singletrack trail. The trail is marked with white arrows and if you want it more difficult you can follow the black loops. Please show consideration for other user of the forest.
